Top Ten Posts for 2013

Welcome to YMHM, where we are finally a mere semester away from an actual, can-you-believe-it degree! “About time!” some would say, and by ‘some’ I mean ‘all’. “All of my family.”

I know my posting lately has been lazy sporadic, so I thought I’d compile a list of YMHM’s top ten posts for 2013. I know the suspense is killing you, but please, try to remain calm:

How was your 2013? Personally I am convinced that time is a lie, but you know. I try to be open-minded about these things.

Thank you for skimming reading this blog this year. I truly appreciate every like and every comment, especially those that are not trying to sell me medication for erectile dysfunction.

I wish you and yours a very happy, blessed Christmas. May you not be the biggest screw-up at your family dinner. May the food be good. May your arch-nemesis not attend the Christmas service and if they do, ignore you first.

I know most folks will probably be too busy to browse the Internet for the next few days, so I wanted to get my Christmas wishes in early, before the food babies, family drama and presents get in the way! I hope this festive season is special for you and yours and that the new year holds many amazing things for you. Remember this:

Take a moment and pray for the unsaved people in your life, even if you don’t think it will make a difference.

Lord, (name/s) are ruled by your absence from their hearts. Gather them close to you this Christmas season and “Open their eyes to what you do, to see your zealous love for your people” (Isaiah 26:11-15 Msg). Because I know what it’s like to live without you, I ask you, Lord, to call (name/s) by name and to give them the grace to surrender to your love, life, light and salvation. I pray that (name/s) will come to know true freedom in you. Amen.
