Today

Today I am grateful for today.

It wasn’t perfect.

The exam didn’t go so well.

The class was a little awkward.

The sky wasn’t bright, the sun wasn’t warm.

It was just an ordinary day.

But you know what?

Today my heart was ablaze with God.

And while today wasn’t perfect, it was extraordinary because it was everything it needed to be.

It always is.

I think they call this ‘peace’.
